'Accept' is the first solo release from UK-based Slow Clinic, following a period focused on collaboration with artists from ambient and experimental scenes. The EP began as a series of field recordings captured on an old Sanyo cassette dictaphone, gathering sounds from a quiet cul-de-sac in Farnham, Surrey, while working on mastering projects from home.

There are flickers of birdsong, passing traffic, and the occasional passerby. However, the noisy mechanics and hiss of the dictaphone are most prominent, providing a textural backdrop throughout.
The instrumental content is made up of improvised guitar drones via a simple chain of effects pedals with minimal processing afterward. Thoughts on acceptance of a situation, process, or outcome gave a theme to this EP, embracing the eventual and focusing on making positive contributions along the way.

It just makes sense that a collaboration between two amazing artists would produce an equally amazing product. I missed out on the cd version of eve, but am happy to have the opportunity to purchase the digital album to play on my Walkman. eve sounds amazing when listening with a good pair of headphones on the couch. Three absolutely stunning tracks eve, frost, and pine (and a bonus track of all three songs collected into a unified track). Another great album that takes your soul on a journey. @pugsleysdad805
